As a fourth generation jeweler, I grew up captivated not just by the sparkle of diamonds, but by the deep velvety green of an emerald, the warm glow of a ruby, the quiet luminescence of a pearl.
My father, Pilli Sudhakar, whose dedication to the craft became the path I chose as my own — mentoring me with patience and passion, passing down not just skills, but a deep reverence for every stone and every story.
While I built a career in Business IT, my love for jewelry never left. Between 2000 and 2002, I had already begun crafting my first pieces — and in 2008, I continued creating custom jewelry from home in the USA. One of those early pieces, made for a friend in 2001, would quietly shape my destiny.
In 2023, she reached out to share how much she still cherished it. That moment crystallized everything. Creating jewelry that stays with someone, that means something decades later — that was the fulfillment I had been seeking. I stepped away from the corporate world and opened The Designer’s Thijori in Hyderabad, where Indian heritage meets global design sensibility.
